Why AdGuard VPN?

Everything you need for full online privacy

🔒

Proprietary VPN protocol

AdGuard VPN disguises traffic as regular HTTPS, using AES-256 encryption — harder for Jio, Airtel, and Vi to detect and throttle than standard WireGuard or OpenVPN.

🚫

Built-in ad and malware blocking

Ad, tracker and malware blocking from the makers of AdGuard Ad Blocker, built into the VPN.

⚡

Optimised for streaming and gaming

Servers tuned for low latency — fast enough for HD/4K streaming (Netflix recommends 5–25 Mbps) and low-ping mobile gaming.

🌍

75+ server locations, 50+ countries

Connect to servers across 75+ locations in 50+ countries, including a server in Mumbai.

❓ Frequently asked questions

What is a VPN and why do I need one?
A VPN (Virtual Private Network) encrypts your internet traffic and hides your real IP address. This lets you access blocked websites, stay private from ISPs and hackers, and use public Wi-Fi safely.
Is AdGuard VPN free?
Yes — AdGuard VPN has a free plan with 3GB/month of traffic. For unlimited access, the paid plan starts at €2.69/month (billed every 2 years). No credit card needed for the free plan.
Will a VPN slow down my internet?
A small speed reduction is normal due to encryption overhead. AdGuard VPN's proprietary protocol minimises this — most users don't notice any difference during streaming or browsing.
Is using a VPN legal in India?
Yes, using a VPN for personal privacy and accessing geo-restricted content is legal in India. Some services may have their own terms of service regarding VPN use.
How many devices can I use at once?
The 1-year plan supports 5 simultaneous devices. The 2-year plan supports 10. All major platforms are covered: Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and browser extensions.
Does AdGuard VPN keep logs of my activity?
No. AdGuard VPN runs an audited no-logs policy — it does not record browsing history, connection timestamps, or your real IP address. This applies to both the free and paid plans.
How many server locations does AdGuard VPN have?
AdGuard VPN operates 75+ server locations across 50+ countries, including a server in Mumbai. Fewer locations than giants like NordVPN (60+) or ExpressVPN (90+), but enough to cover every common streaming and unblocking use case.
What is AdGuard VPN's app store rating?
AdGuard VPN holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating across 9,332+ reviews on official app stores, based on the combined Android and iOS app listings.
